I noticed there are badges that exists both in OSQA and SE. Some of the badges in OSQA requires less upvotes to acquire than those in SE. Will there be a recalc with regards to the badges already acquired by the users?

In OSQA you (the site owner) have complete control over what levels are required for badges, and with a little elbow grease (and python code) you can easily create new badges.
We imported http://homeschoolhelpdesk.com from a SX dump, and everything wnet pretty smoothly, including the awarding of badges to users for their various contributions. OSQA badges and SX badges may not signify precisely the same thing, however, so it'll always be good to think about what levels you want to use in OSQA at various stages of your community's growth and development.
I don't remember whether we directly import existing badge awards or not, but I believe we do. Hernani would know better than I do.
