Hi, Admin for SF Answers.com and Phonehow and so far your site UI and workings seem to work well for me, but I'm curious to know a little about your view on OSQA when compared to Shapado? How many people are working on the software? Really am hopeful in your software, if things go weary with SE 2.0.

Hi Debug, we really have the greatest respect for patcito and krawek and the whole team and community driving Shapado. They are cool guys with a great attitude and a clear commitment to building excellent software.
It is the plain and simple truth that we seriously considered using Shapado instead of building a system, and the main reason we didn't was that I was too much of a chicken to take a chance both on an emerging open source app AND on the MongoDB system they use for data persistence.
I don't really know what the future holds for Shapado, but my feeling is that your sites would be in good hands with either Shapado or OSQA. If you want hosted service they can even offer that, and we probably won't. We will, however, be driving OSQA forward with a lot of innovative features. Our goal is to produce an awesome solution for running a highly interactive, social Q&A community.
So, in short, we respect Shapado and don't think you can make a bad choice picking our solution or theirs. Both are strong and getting stronger.
