Currently I have set to daily? is that mean I'll receive an email instantly notifying me that someone has replied to your question? or will I receive an email at the end of the day?

The command looks into every user's subscription settings, tag filters (interesting/ignored tags), tag filter mode (exclude ignored/include only interesting - more restrictive), the list of pages visited by that user, per-page last visit timestamps, last time the alert was reported and the frequency selected for that group of the alert. There are four alert groups (and each can use daily/weekly/never delivery schedule): - questions asked by user - questions answered by user - all questions (to which tag filter applies) - individually selected questions All that can be configured by each user in the "email subscritions" section of his/her profile. The question will be included into the email if there there is something new (he/she has not yet seen while browsing logged in) and the question matches the settings.
If the update list is empty for a given person - email will not be sent.

Hello, currently the per post email subscriptions are a bit out of control :-) More seriously, there are part of the code we inherited from the original project, and is something we hadn't have the chance to work on yet, but it's an issue in our URGENT todo list. There was some work done by Evgeny regarding the email subscriptions (on the user profile), and those are working fine, but I guess he'll be able to answer this one better than I do as soon as he has the chance.
